The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is located in Wellsboro, PA, approximately 1.5- 2 hours away from Bucknell. The canyon is part of the Tioga State Forest and stretches 45 miles with depths of nearly 1500 feet. You can come here to hike, bike, boat, and fish.
One of its most popular attractions is its "Rails-to-Trails" Bicycle Path which runs along the floor of the canyon. This path has been named one of the "10 greatest places to take a bike tour" in the world by USA Today.
The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon has beautiful scenery and wildlife and is an attraction which can be enjoyed year-round.
